Nick Offerman was born Nickolas Offerman on June26. 1970 in Joliet, Illinois, United States. He had his college education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1993.
As a co-founder of a theater company called Defiant Theater along with his fellow students. Nick Offerman appeared in films back in 1997, albeit in minor roles. some of them are Walking All the Way (1997), where he played Wilks, City of Angels (1998) and Treasure Island (1999).
While working as a fight choreographer and Nick, the master carpenter at Steppenwolf, met with Amy Poehler who gave him the platform to explore his comic book skills. 2003 saw him appear in a few television series similar to Will & Grace where he portrayed the character of a plumber, The King of Queens , 24 and The Western Wing .
